Stoneham, MA (October 2025) StonehamBank is excited to announce its recognition from American Bankers Association Foundation’s Community Commitment Award for 2025 in the Protecting Older Americans Category.

“I’m proud to share that we were recognized for our efforts in this area,” noted Vice President/Marketing Director Lauren Constantine. “This recognition highlights the meaningful impact of our work and the dedication we bring to protecting and supporting older adults in our community.”

Throughout the year, StonehamBank focuses attention on areas where older adults can be taken advantage of by unscrupulous individuals. Team members are specially trained to work with individuals when they appear to be uncomfortable or confused about a transaction. The Bank conducts workshops at local Senior Centers, provides in-branch informational pieces focused on avoiding scams and being cyber-secure, as well as posts on local and social media sites warning about the dangers. The Bank website contains instructive information on fraud prevention and cyber-security, including helpful links to outside resources.
