“JEANS AT WORK” SUMMER
Stoneham, MA (September 9, 2020) – This summer, StonehamBank employees showed their support for the Stoneham Food Pantry by raising funds through the “Jeans at Work” initiative which ran from June through August. The team raised $545.00 for the Stoneham Food Pantry, a non-profit, volunteer organization with a mission to provide supplemental food supplies to Stoneham residents who need a helping hand.
“I could not be more touched that the StonehamBank team came together to support members of our community that are in need, especially during such a challenging time,” said Edward F. Doherty, Jr., CEO of StonehamBank.
If you are a Stoneham resident and are in need of food, you can receive assistance from the Stoneham’s Food Pantry. The Food Pantry stocks non-perishable foods, some household supplies and toiletries, and a limited supply of frozen and refrigerated items such as cheese, eggs, and frozen meats.
You may visit the pantry once a month at the First Congregational Church of Stoneham, by appointment, to select groceries you know will be used by your household. The pantry is open each Tuesday, and you can schedule your monthly appointment by calling the church office at 781-438-0097 between 8:30—2:30 Monday through Friday.
