REMINDER: A new and improved Card Control app is coming on December 9th, giving you more control, convenience, and security over your StonehamBank debit card. An update is required for iOS users to access the new features.

STONEHAM, MA (March 18, 2022) – StonehamBank CEO Edward F. Doherty, Jr. recently announced a donation to the Reading-based Mission of Deeds to support the organization’s annual Buy a Bed campaign.

“We are grateful to so many of our customers and employees who contributed to the Buy a Bed campaign and excited that we were able to make a donation from the Bank as well, which allowed us to present $1,500 to purchase mattresses, box springs and bed frames for those in need. It is heartwarming to know that families will have a good night’s sleep in a comfortable new bed. StonehamBank has partnered with Mission of Deeds on this project and others for many years now and we look forward to a continued fruitful partnership.”

Mission of Deeds , founded in 1993, provides beds, furniture and household goods donated or purchased, to families in need who are establishing a new home. Clients include those who were formerly homeless, victims of domestic violence, elders without support, refugees, displaced veterans and the disabled.
